Using ReadyStudy

These terms are an agreement between you and ReadyStudy, the operator of the ReadyStudy app and website. You must be legally able to enter this agreement. ReadyStudy accounts are created and managed by an adult parent or guardian on behalf of children. By creating a child profile, you confirm that you are authorized to provide that child's information and manage learning content for them.

Content you provide

You are responsible for the lesson content you upload. ReadyStudy uses AI to extract and organize this content and to generate quizzes. You retain your rights in your content and grant ReadyStudy permission to host, process, reproduce, and display it only as needed to provide and protect the service. You confirm that you have the right to provide the content and any child information associated with it.

AI-generated material

AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for a particular learner. A parent or guardian must review quizzes, answer keys, explanations, summaries, and grade-level suggestions before relying on them. ReadyStudy is a study aid and does not replace a teacher, school curriculum, professional assessment, or educational advice.

Family sharing and child devices

An account owner may invite other authorized adults to access a shared family library. Members of that family account can access its child profiles, lessons, quizzes, chats, and learning history. You are responsible for inviting only people authorized to access that information and for removing access when it is no longer appropriate.

A parent may pair a device with one child profile and assign quizzes to it. Keep pairing codes and paired devices secure. The account owner may revoke a paired device at any time.

Plans and subscriptions

Some features are limited by a trial, free plan, or paid subscription. Prices, billing periods, renewal terms, and trial details are shown before purchase. Subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google are billed and renewed by that store and must be managed or cancelled through the store account. Deleting a ReadyStudy account does not automatically cancel a store subscription. Except where required by law, refunds are handled under the applicable store's policies.

Acceptable use

• Use ReadyStudy only for lawful, personal family learning support.
• Do not upload content or child information you are not authorized to provide.
• Do not attempt to access another family's data or bypass account, quota, or security controls.
• Do not use the service to distribute harmful, illegal, abusive, or infringing material.
• Do not reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or misuse ReadyStudy or its AI features.

Account suspension and deletion

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law, or secure the service. You may permanently delete your account from the app or follow the process onour account deletion page. Deletion is permanent and may remove a shared family library for every member.

Service availability

ReadyStudy is provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free AI output, or that the service will meet every educational need. We may change or discontinue features, but will not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.

Third-party services

ReadyStudy depends on third-party authentication, hosting, AI, subscription, and app store services. Their terms may also apply to your use of those services. ReadyStudy is not responsible for third-party services outside its reasonable control, but this does not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.

Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ReadyStudy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes

These terms may be updated as ReadyStudy evolves. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after revised terms take effect means you accept them.
